Even inexpensive 12 volt plug in units empty a 5 gallon jerry can in about 2 ½ minutes. To avoid rust and containments from entering your system, the Outback Pump's pickup hose has an all brass fine mesh filter screen that's cleanable and reusable. With 10 feet of industrial quality and petroleum resistant discharge hose, you won't have problems reaching your tank. Jerry cans are protected from over pressurizing with a 5 psi blow off valve. The Outback Pump can be used with gas, diesel, kerosene, oil, lubes, hydraulic oils or water. Of course, don't transfer water after using with petroleum products. Deluxe Outback Pump has an on/off nozzle and works great for filling small tanks such as quads, motorcycles, generators, lawn mowers.
